The SkillsUSA Championships is a premier national event that showcases the skills and talents of America’s top career and technical education students. Held annually in June as part of the National Leadership & Skills Conference (NLSC), the 2025 event is scheduled from June 23 to 27 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. This competition is one of the largest hands-on workforce development events globally, featuring over 6,500 state champions competing in 114 skilled and leadership competitions across various industries.
The competitions are organized into three main categories: Leadership, Occupationally Related, and Skilled and Technical Sciences. These contests are developed and judged by industry professionals to ensure they reflect current workplace standards and expectations. Participants engage in real-world scenarios, demonstrating their proficiency and readiness for the workforce. The event not only recognizes individual excellence with gold, silver, and bronze medals but also offers opportunities for scholarships, tools of the trade, and direct job offers from industry leaders.
