Northern California Construction Training (NCCT) is a nonprofit organization that offers a free pre-apprenticeship program designed to prepare individuals for careers in the construction industry. The program provides hands-on training across more than 20 trades, including framing, bricklaying, and welding, while also offering support for earning certifications like OSHA 10, HAZWOPER, and CPR. NCCT is open to all and even includes remedial education and GED assistance if needed.
Graduates gain real-world experience through community construction projects and receive training in essential life skills such as teamwork and punctuality. With over 80% job placement into union apprenticeships or related fields, NCCT offers a direct and impactful pathway into the construction workforce. Applications are accepted year-round at multiple locations across Northern California.
